More than 400 non-profit organizations, including St. Joseph Health hospitals
in Orange County, are participating in a 30-hour, online giving challenge
to help create stronger, more vibrant communities.
Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo,
St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, and
St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton are participating in the second annual
I Heart OC Giving Day, a 30-hour online giving challenge that begins at 6 a.m. on Wednesday,
April 27 and ends at 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 28.
Funds raised during this 30-hour window will be used to help fund new equipment,
offer nursing scholarships and meet other pressing needs at the hospitals.
Supporting your favorite non-profit with a minimum contribution of $25
is as easy as clicking a link. Contributions are secure and are tax-deductible.

Anyone with a credit card can donate at any time during the challenge,
organized by Orange County Community Foundation, by going to
iheartoc.org or by clicking on these specific links:
Los Angeles Angels fans will have an opportunity to give during the April
27 game against the Kansas City Royals. During the 7th inning, an Orange County Community Foundation representative will ask
all fans to take out their smartphones and make a gift to their favorite
Patrons who want to attend that game can use the GIVING code when
buying tickets to include a $5 donation to Giving Day.
In 2015, more than $1.8 million was raised for 347 participating non-profits
across Orange County.
