Application Process and Timeline
Candidates must have earned by the start of the fellowship an MHA, MSHA,
MPH, or MBA from a CAHME, AASB, or CEPH accredited program with an emphasis
in healthcare management, and have demonstrated an academic performance
level of a 3.5 GPA or above. Candidates that have completed the didactic
curriculum of such program and need to complete a one-year fellowship
for conformance of their master's degree will also be considered.
Prior healthcare industry experience is preferred.
The most promising applicants are individuals who demonstrate leadership
skills, superior academic performance and relevant work experience related
to healthcare. Candidates must be able to work independently, have strong
analytical skills and are self-starters, with strong organizational and
time management skills. Excellent candidates will be knowledgeable of
past and current health industry perspective and possess the ability to
balance multiple projects and tasks.
