    Biography

    Dr. Sanjeev Silwal joined Covenant Health Plainview’s Pediatrics group in September 2018.

    Silwal is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Silwal studied medicine at the Universal College of Medical Sciences in Nepal and earned his M.B.B.S degree in March 2009. Silwal then started a year Medical and Surgery internship in April 2010, where he was the House Physician and Surgeon at the Universal College of Medical Sciences in Nepal.

    Until 2012, Silwal was a Medical Officer at Rapti Zonal Hospital in Napel and then moved to Dirghayu Polyclinic and Research Center also in Nepal for a year.

    In 2013, Silwal worked as Clinical Observer with Abdur Shakir, MD, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital’s Cancer Center in Illinois.

    Silwal was also a Clinical Observer at Harvard Medical School’s Boston Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts as well at the Shock and Trauma Center at the University of Maryland.

    In June 2015, Silwal began the Pediatric Residency program at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s Children’s Hospital in New Jersey.
