Label-Resources to build a better healthcare system

The Center for Health Care Reform has put together a resource for communities to promote short-term advocacy for children's access to healthcare and long-term advocacy for changing the healthcare system to be more equitable for all. The resource includes study guides, bulletin inserts and PowerPoint material. The CD is available on request to the Center for Healthcare Reform.

Prayer Tent for Children's Health Care

The Prayer Tent can create a reflective space --in your family, among friends-- where underlying values of healthcare policy can be examined and discussed with the time, pace and continuity they deserve. Invite your church or congregation to place prayer tents in the pews and with the accompanying bulletin inserts.

Credo/Vision of Healthcare
The survey gives a visual picture of what a group thinks is most important in a future U.S. healthcare system. A credo, or vision statement, tries to put these same priorities into words, in a fuller systemic statement. Use the voting exercise for a group discussion.

OurHealthCareFuture.org provides a field-tested process and materials to engage the general public in a dialogue about our healthcare future. Here you will find everything you need to bring together 25-40 members of your community to

share their vision of an ideal health system

name their priorities for that system

evaluate our current system and two possible futures in light of those priorities

Center for Healthcare Reform partnered with Georgetown University and NETWORK in creating this dialogue. Back to top
