St. Joseph Health utilizes an online Human Subjects Protection Training
program called the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI)
Program. All St. Joseph Health Investigators, Clinical Research Nurses
and Coordinators, Research Administrators, Managers and Pharmacists, IRB
Members and Research Data Support staff working on research projects involving
human subjects are required to complete training in the Protection of
Human Subjects, and Conflicts of Interest in Research.
The online web-based CITI Program allows researchers to complete the training
in multiple log-in sessions and at a time that is convenient for them.
The CITI Program can be accessed online at
www.citiprogram.org. Please refer to Guidance for Research Education to determine appropriate
courses based on research role.
