While I enjoy all aspects of adult medicine, I particularly enjoy caring for the elderly. Older adults have unique needs, concerns and issues – and protecting their health not only requires an expertise in chronic and complex health issues, but a willingness to listen carefully and proactively look for ways to guard their well-being and independence.

Medical issues can present very differently in older adults with often subtle symptoms; identifying those issues early is essential. With a patient's active involvement, we develop a plan for improving their health, vitality and quality of life.

Having seen first-hand in my own family the value of quality medical care for aging parents and grandparents – and the cost of inattentive care – I am committed to offering exceptional care to this important population.

I spent a lot of money on prescriptions. Doc had no sense of urgency.

See previous comments. She did seemed more relaxed this visit. She seemed more willing to spend a little time, but still in a hurry to get to next patient. I've only seen her for annuals before and she couldn't care less what ailments I want to discuss during those visits. This time was specifically due to car crash, but she didn't even ask how I got my injuries. At first she had no idea connected with car crash. I had to make sure she understood that I had a car accident. Then she didn't ask when it occurred or what pains/aches I have. Seems like she should be leading the visit not me making sure she listens.

I've been seen several times for an allergic reaction with no doctor being able to take care of it. My first time seeing her she wanted to put me on viral medication, but I told her a doctor at another medical office within the last 6 months ran viral blood tests and they were negative. She did not want to check those records and put me on viral meds anyways. When I asked about an allergy panel since I have already had 3-4 doctors see me she said we still had to try other meds before that. I don't want test medications... I want to know why I get this so I can avoid getting it. Its a skin reaction all around my mouth that is painful and disturbing to look at. Abreva works to control the spread but it takes 2 weeks to heal. The meds have not helped it heal any faster and I still want to know the cause.
