    Dr. Mujeeb Altaf has been a Hospitalist at Santa Rosa Memorial since 2008. As a Hospitalist, Dr. Altaf is dedicated to caring for patients during their hospital stay and providing the communication necessary to safely return care to the primary care physician upon discharge from the hospital. Dr. Altaf is recognized and appreciated by all his peers as a superb diagnostician He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and works with his partners to manage the acute and immediate medical concerns of the hospitalized patient.

    Dr. Altaf was born in Kashmir and has lived in England before moving to the United States in 2005. Dr. Altaf currently resides in Santa Rosa with his wife and two children. Dr. Altaf learned the art and beauty of fishing from his grandfather whom was a master fisherman and continues to enjoy the sport today. He also enjoys cycling, hiking and boating. Dr. Altaf has performed research for a scientific TV quiz series broadly televised in India.
