It was at age 15 while reading
Arrowsmith by Sinclair Lewis that Dr. Anderson realized he wanted to become a doctor.
He remembers this deeply profound moment as the beginning of his path
to help and serve others and play a critical role in their lives.
Dr. Anderson is very appreciative of the responsibility he has been afforded
to provide medical care for patients, enabling them to improve their health.
As he states it best, “I feel extremely fulfilled to be able to
help people change their lives for the better. Health care decisions are
some of the most difficult decisions a person makes and I am happy to
serve in this role.”
After receiving his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School
of Medicine in Chicago, IL (his hometown), Dr. Anderson completed a surgical
internship at San Francisco General Hospital and a year of surgical residency
at Loyola University Medical Center where he assisted on the open-heart
surgery team. Additionally, he served for two years as a U. S. Naval Flight
Surgeon at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.
A Laguna Beach resident through and through, Dr. Anderson is proud to serve
his local community for the past 36 years and provide exceptional health
care for patients of all ages. Outside of the office, he enjoys surfing
and swimming in the ocean as well as reading and writing.
