Dr Duke is a supportive long-term primary care provider who is understanding and easy to talk to.
Dr. Duke is 100% the best doctor I've ever had. She's helped me tremendously. The only doctor I have had that listens and has helped identify things that are going on with me that I can point to and fix. Tangible results. Better living because of Dr. Duke. Her office team is great too. There are two staff members, in particular, that stand out for me. They make me feel right at ease and I really appreciate the whole team. I live ~30 miles away and will go nowhere else for care because no one has made me feel as comfortable about talking about difficult things at Dr. Duke and the team.
    it was very help full
Responding to a survey about Dr. Duke is silly. She is known among all who know her as the finest physician they have ever known. She is an excellent diagnostician, an informed physician and above all a fine and kind human being who truly cares that each of her patients is healed...both physically and emotionally. After my mother passed away I felt I wanted a new family physician and asked pharmacists, other doctors I trusted, etc for recommendations. Dr. Duke's was the name that continued to come up. I made an appointment to interview her and was struck by her honesty and sincere concern. My mother became ill just as our family physician of a lifetime, Dr. Robert Francis retired. Dr. Francis saved the lives of many of our family members. He himself was like a member of our family. During my mothers illness we went to a fine St. Jude doctor, but I didn't feel he was a good fit for me after my mother passed away. It was for this reason I searched for a new doctor and interviewed Dr. Duke. I never thought that after Dr. Francis retired I would meet another doctor who was so thorough and cared so much about his patients. I have found this miracle in Dr. Duke. One note: Regarding my answer to the question about being called by the office with test results, I always check my results on the Portal immediately. In this last instance my appointment was the day after my bloodwork and although I had already checked my results online, Dr. Duke went over all the results with me personally. I never expected the office to call me. Dr. Duke is a superb physician and also a saint walking on earth. Unrelated to this visit, I'd like to mention two other St. Jude physicians, Dr. Martin Carr and Dr. Mark Weissig who have gone out of their way to treat both my family members and me with the greatest care, warmth, honesty and professionalism.
I do appreciate the written notes she provides me with all the transpired during the visit. These notes become more and more valuable as I age and forget what we discussed and conclusions. I also really appreciate her forwarding lab results with her clear explanations. Dr Duke is the best. She's so thoughtful and very patient.
