    Melissa Sloan, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. She has worked as a registered nurse in the hospital setting before continuing her education and training as a nurse practitioner. She practiced in family medicine for a number of years and has specialized in sleep and pulmonary medicine. In addition to clinical practice, she is a professor at Sonoma State Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She mentors students in clinical practice and teaches Advanced Physical Assessment, Clinical Preceptorship and Pharmacology courses.

    Very good experience. Melissa brought me up to speed in regard to the success of the treatment (BiPap), machine settings, etc. We also discussed several questions that I had in regard to treatment options, equipment cleaning, etc. Knowledgeable and to the point with her responses.

    Asked for info on what CPAP was set at and was given a print out to carry in the CPAP case for all to know what is needed. As I do forget is is best to have this info handy.
