    Melissa Sloan, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. She has worked as a registered nurse in the hospital setting before continuing her education and training as a nurse practitioner. She practiced in family medicine for a number of years and has specialized in sleep and pulmonary medicine. In addition to clinical practice, she is a professor at Sonoma State Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She mentors students in clinical practice and teaches Advanced Physical Assessment, Clinical Preceptorship and Pharmacology courses.

    This past visit was very good at times, she has been short quick to explain things - But the most recent visit seem more professionally appropriate, which was very welcome.

    It was basically a good visit. There were just a few things that she went over quickly that I could not get. However, she had somebody follow up with me and things got sorted out.
