    Biography
    Dr Green has been with Nephrology Associates since 2005. Though she grew up in New Orleans and considers Louisiana to be her home, she left the South to attend John Hopkins University for an undergraduate degree in Biology, followed by medical studies at Harvard Medical School in Boston in 1997. During her training, she served as co-editor of The Washington Manual of Medical Therapeutics, which is a training manual used by medical students and residents throughout the world. She is trained in the specialized care of patients with kidney disease, hypertension, dialysis, electrolyte disorders, and kidney transplantation. She subsequently moved from Missouri to Northern California in 2005 and settled in Sonoma County to be near family. Her professional interests include prevention of progression of chronic kidney disease and improvement in the quality and delivery of dialysis planning and care. She also has a strong interest in helping people live well with kidney disease, including supporting dialysis care that can be delivered at home, promoting independence and quality of life.
