It comes as no surprise that Dr. Hiteshi’s last name translated from
Hindi means “well-wisher”. Conscientious principles instilled
by his family have greatly contributed to his philosophy of care, through
which he helps patients achieve long-lasting results.
Dr. Hiteshi’s grandfather, a freedom fighter and physician during
the Indian independence movement, developed in him an innate desire to
care for others. He practices integrative medicine that blends Western
and Eastern techniques as he believes this approach provides treatment
options that can easily be integrated into patients’ lifestyles
and promotes ongoing healing. In expressing his philosophy of care, Dr.
Hiteshi shares, “each person is uniquely influenced by his or her
genetics, past experiences, and current environment, so I enjoy collaborating
with my patients to create customized treatment plans that allow for the
best possible health outcome.”
Dr. Hiteshi is delighted to serve his native Orange County after completing
medical training. He attended St. George’s University School of
Medicine and he completed his residency at Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt
Hospital in New York, where exposure to a diverse patient population prepared
him to excel at Hoag Medical Group.
When not collaborating with patients, Dr. Hiteshi enjoys hiking, playing
basketball, and spending time with his family.
