    In his own words:

Ophthalmology is a rewarding profession and the satisfaction I get from my career comes from the relationships I build with my patients. I enjoy taking my time to get to know them and learn about their lives and interests as well as discussing their eye problems. I have also found that this is what makes me a better physician. By slowing things down, and really listening to my patients I am able to pick up other physical issues that need addressing. Issues that may not have come up if I hadn’t given my patients the time to have these important conversations.
