while in the hospital, my husband was very impressed & appreciative of how Dr Koo explained things in a way he could understand.
i've seeing half a dozen GI dr. in my life. And by far Dr. Koo has gone above and beyond in caring for me. as a provider myself, it know in our modern health care system it's difficult to spend as much time with our patients as we want. However, Dr. Koo spent as much time with me as needed and never rushed me. He listened to my complicated case with patience. And above all, he was willing squeeze me into his busy colonoscopy schedule asap, if I have another acute colon bleed. No GI doctor have ever been that caring for my 23 year confusing condition. Please give him a promotion if possible :)!! It is rare in modern health care system to find a doctor that truly cares and not just going through the motion of seeing patients. No doctors have ever been willing to inconvenience himself for the sake of my care as Dr. Koo willing to add a extra colonoscopy just for me on short notice if needed for a urgent situation. i've researched many GI docs in the area, and have seeing many in the past 23 years. Most of the time i've been rushed out the office cause they are confused about a foggy diagnosis, symptoms not correlating completely with colonoscopy findings. Please share my compliments with him and let him know he is truly appreciated.
    I threw up or 6 months & lost 50 lbs. - since *Dr. Koo; I don't throw up I feel 100% better.
I felt like I was finally being listening me. I still have more work to do with *Dr. Koo I hope my visit won't be months out.
He was a very good care provider.
