    Biography

    Dr. Madeline Leong joined Mission Heritage Medical Group from Johns Hopkins Hospital where she served as Assistant Professor in the Palliative Care Program. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Leong received her Medical Degree from Duke University School of Medicine and her B.S. from Johns Hopkins University.

    Dr. Leong is dedicated to patient education on end-of-life issues and has written several scientific articles on Palliative Care. She is also an award-winning playwright whose plays on medical topics have been performed on the East Coast. Her play on Palliative Care issues, "Life Support", premiered in Baltimore and was then presented at the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) Annual Meeting in February 2017.
