Dr. Lustberg has been serving the Santa Rosa community for approximately
10 years and was trained at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
He believes in a patient centered practice that combines traditional Western
medicine with an openness to alternative treatments such as nutrition
counseling, herbal medicine and holistic medicine. He has served as the
gastroenterology section chief for Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, president
of Digestive Health Consultants, director of Gastroenterology Digestive
Care Center, associate professor for Touro University health sciences,
and was on the Meritage Medical Network Board of Directors. His medical
interests include: upper gastrointestinal motility, digestive disorders,
inflammatory bowel disease, therapeutic endoscopy and hemorrhoid treatment.
He has been published several times in the fields of esophageal reflux
and therapeutic endoscopy. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Lustberg
enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Zachary and Rachel,
in addition to his favorite recreational activities: hiking, dining, traveling,
dancing and playing basketball.
