  • Biography

What makes Internal Medicine so rewarding is the chance to develop personal, on-going relationships with my patients, whether they are 18 or 108. Patients immediately pick up on whether you genuinely care about them and their health. There is a famous quote by Theodore Roosevelt, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" – and that is especially true in Internal Medicine. Regardless of the physician's clinical expertise, a patient's ability to trust and feel comfortable with a doctor starts with whether that physician cares about them as an individual.

I enjoy caring for different generations, from those in their 20s, who need to understand how to keep and improve their health, to seniors, who often have complex, chronic conditions that require careful, consistent care. For every age, listening and education are key. The more I understand a patient's issues and concerns, and the more education I provide, the more empowered and effective they will be in improving their well-being.

I recently transferred to *Dr. Liang from another dr. She was excellent - thorough and very informed.
Dr. liang is very excellent & experience doctor.
I have never come out of a doctor's visit feeling so awful, uncomfortable, and unsure. After receiving my blood test results, I didn't hear a thing about them and when I asked if we should discuss them, she commented that I should've seen them on patient portal and completely ignored the matter afterwards. At the very least, a good doctor should confirm whether or not a patient is doing well (really, this takes 5 seconds of your time to say "everything looks fine") Furthermore, all of my questions were either dismissed with a "I've already answered that" or "You're repeating yourself" when I was asking about different circumstances, or looking for further clarification. This made me feel even more uncomfortable asking about my own health and awful about having any sort of confusion. The entire appointment ended with Dr Liang leaving in a rush out the door while saying "Okay we'll submit for testing" without at all acknowledging the end of the appointment.
    she was rude & condescending
I have always having Dr. Liang a truthful and caring Doctor. She is informative and attentive to all my needs. I consider a friend.
