I had scheduled the appointment for a physical. I'm 54-years old, and this time I did not get a D.R.E. While I don't look forward to them, it's an important health screening. I'm not sure why the doctor chose not to perform one. Also, I was to be given a written prescription by the doctor. When the nurses aid came back to the room, I asked where the prescription was, and he said, "oh, the doctor sent it to your pharmacy electronically." The reason for the written prescription was to price shop medication not covered by insurance. My pharmacy didn't get the order, but the nurses aid was wrong in saying it was sent electronically. The doctor agreed to write the script. Other than that, the visit was fine.
