    Biography

    Dr. Marandola received his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Boston University. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine where he received honors. He completed a surgery internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at University of California Irvine Medical Center in 1992. During his residency, Dr. Marandola received sports medicine training at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles.

    Dr. Marandola is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of sports related injuries and additionally practices general orthopedics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American College of Surgeons. He is also an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

    Dr. Marandola has been treating adults and children in Orange County since 1992. He maintains an active continuing medical education program in sports medicine and is trained in the latest conservative and surgical techniques.
