This was the first appointment after a 6 year absence to Palm Desert. We returned to Dr. Noorian because we were well satisfied with his service 6 years ago.
    *Dr. Noorian is excellent.
MRI reports and health information were not fully disclosed to patient. MRI stated findings and reevaluation and CT scan were in need per Radiologist. Patient discovered manifestations per MRI that were not divulged to patient regarding radiology findings by PCP. The information was placed under the carpet, per se, perhaps to "pon" issue off to another provider. Be mindful patient has been in chronic pain for 3 weeks+ weeks. In addition, the MRI prescription "sat upon" a desk in the authorization department for 11 days (I believe **** is the employee). A follow up call was not returned by MA to find out MRI status in this time period. Patient realizes that the practice is busy, but this is not what healthcare is about to bring about proper and good patient outcome. Meaning, I could have caused more bodily injury in the time period the MRI prescription sat in the authorization department untouched or authorized by a PPO plan, and no contact was made to patient regarding MRI prescription. Patient had to reach out to all avenues and radiology facilities to complete MRI because of severe chronic pain.
I mentioned I thought I had "something" coming on; as my husband had severe bronchitis, I didn't want to get sick and requested a Zpac. Doctor provided it but thought it "was overkill". It actually was just what I needed and did "the job"!
My family and I have been seeing Dr. Nader Noorian for many years. He is familiar with our health and health issues. He is always very warm and caring and we highly trust his professional judgement and medical experience.
