    Biography

    Biography
Dr. Pettit is a board-certified ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist who has been practicing medicine for 35 years. He is a graduate of Stanford University, as well as UCI Medical School and completed his residency at UC San Francisco. While a resident, he was a member of the original cochlear implant team, helping to establish electrical stimulation of the inner ear as the standard of care in deaf patients 12 months of age and older.

While embracing the technological advances which have transformed his specialty, he still retains the bedside manner from a bygone era, getting to know each of his patients as individuals and taking the time to understand their unique experience and perspective.
