  • Biography

My love of children inspired me to choose pediatrics as a medical specialty. It’s rewarding to nurture the health, development and well-being of children. I also enjoy knowing that I’m helping parents at the same time.

I am the proud father of two grown children and three grandchildren. In my leisure time, I enjoy attending sporting events, cycling and golfing and am a contributing writer to Parenting Orange County Magazine.

There is nothing more important to me than the health and safety of your children. As a strong advocate of vaccinations, I believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing I can do to keep your children and your community safe. If you choose not to fully vaccinate your child, another physician may be a better fit for your family. If you have questions or would like more information on vaccinations, call our office at (562) 697-6030.

*Dr. Reuben is wonderful. He cares about our boys & us as parents. he is welcoming, jovial & caring. Great man & doctor.
Dr. Reuben has great bead side manners. He is respectful and he takes the time necessary to answer all my questions, no matter how silly they can be.
*Dr. Reuben seemed to scare me with the worst case scenarios and did not appear to want to work with my preferences regarding breastfeeding. He also told me my son's Mongolian bruise would be permanent which is not true, especially in Asian children. He appears to have a _____ script for all and does not provide patient centered care.
We had a very brief discussion about the medications he was recommending to her, but I'd have preferred a proper discussion about options, current treatments for asthma, and possible side effects, what the medication is and what it does, etc. The doctor was friendly and while I understand he doesn't have a lot of time, that isn't my priority. My priority is the health of my child--not accommodating the doctor's schedule.
Dr Reuben is a wonderfully caring doctor.
