Preventive care is where Dr. Ranney's practice begins. He believes that helping his patients achieve good health means educating them on living a healthy lifestyle. The best way to treat disease is to prevent it from ever occurring. Dr. Ranney chose to pursue a career in medicine because of his interest in science. He finds the science of medicine to be a challenge - but enjoys the personal aspect of applying those medical principles to his patients. To him, there's nothing more satisfying than knowing he's helped one of his patients improve their quality of health.

*Dr. Ranney is good. I wish he would take time to educate me about my health. It seems very diagnosis and treat symptoms oriented.

Experience with Dr. Ranney has always been good.

I like Dr. Ranney because he is a great doctor and I feel like I learn a lot when I ask him all my stored up health questions. But on this last visit I felt like he was rushing to get me out the door. I specifically stated all three health concerns when I scheduled the visit. But I felt like he didn't want to discuss the third concern. If there is not enough time to address three concerns in one visit, I wish I had been told on the front end. I would have then scheduled back to back visits or tried to ask for a double appointment or something. I barely go to the doctor once or twice a year. If there isn't enough time to discuss my concerns in the one appointment, then where else can I go? Either I need enough time in the one appointment or I need more appointments. I'm fine with either, but which is more efficient?
