I've been a pediatrician for over 30 years and I love what I do. I
enjoy helping children successfully move through each of life's stages
and look forward to the time and conversations spent with them. Yes, even
the teenagers. One of the things that come from many years of experience
in pediatrics is a new appreciation for the adolescent years. I'm
a good listener and have both knowledge and insight to offer—and
my teenage patients recognize that I'm committed to helping them succeed.
An important part of my role is educating and reassuring parents. As a
parent myself, I understand their concerns and worries. Parent education
is particularly important with asthma and allergies, an area I have additional
training and a strong interest in. Helping children and parents successfully
navigate allergies and asthma is an important and rewarding part of my practice.
