    Biography

    Dr. Salman formerly served as Attending Physician at University Hospital, Santa Rosa Children's, and Women & Children's Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He was Clinical Research Director, Director of PICU Respiratory Care, Director of Intermediate and Intensive Care Units, Director of Pediatric Transport during his tenure at Southwest Texas Methodist Children's Hospital. He was also Chief of Department of Pediatrics at John's Hopkins International in the United Arab Emirates. He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Mississippi.

    Dr. Salman is widely published and an active lecturer. His areas of research interest includes Partial Liquid Ventilation, Use of Heliox in the treatment of Asthma, Immunomodulatory Effects of Liquid Perfluorocarbon, and Use of Nitric Oxide in the PICU.

His clinical expertise is in adequate ventilation and decrease in mortality in the pediatric population. He focuses primarily on providing care to children with complex respiratory and chest problems.
