    Biography

I enjoy Internal Medicine because it allows me to take care of the whole person, addressing all of his or her health needs. Listening and education are important aspects of my practice. I want my patients to understand their health problems and risk factors so they can make healthy choices. I focus on disease prevention, as well as helping patients successfully manage a broad range of chronic conditions, from hypertension to diabetes.

There is nothing more important to me than the health and safety of your children. As a strong advocate of vaccinations, I believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing I can do to keep your children and your community safe. If you choose not to fully vaccinate your child, another physician may be a better fit for your family. If you have questions or would like more information on vaccinations, call our office at (714) 577-6675.

She was thorough, but wasn't very personable.

My PCP provided minimal courtesy and lacked communication skills needed to facilitate mutual dialogue or feedback regarding my health concerns during annual visit. I'm very disappointed her main focus was typing as I spoke with no feedback other than referrals.

The doctor greeted me well and in a friendly manner but honestly as the appointment continued I felt that the care provider was detached. after explaining my symptoms she did not provide any sort of reassurance. I completely understand she couldn't determine what was wrong without taking test but I would have expected her to explain to me what each test would help accomplish. Before I knew it she was getting ready to walk out the room before I had even finished explaining my symptoms. It might have been some sort of miscommunication, when I gave her time to speak through her google glasses to give notes. She might have thought I was done speaking. The nurse who took my blood pressure was amazing, very personable. A few days after my appointment, I called in for my results, apparently the care provider called me but I never received a missed call or a voicemail. One of my test came back positive for a bacterial infection and I spoke with the nurse who provided some information but I mainly had to do the research on my own. The conclusion was if I felt the same after taking the medication I can go back in and see her but According to my research this bacteria can get worse over time, causing damage and I could have had it for years without not knowing. So yes I would definitely like a follow and a second test to make sure the bacteria is gone regardless if I'm feeling better or not. I went ahead and made a follow up appointment with a different provider for when my medication is complete.

No problem with the physician. She reminded that I should only bring one problem each time. I had an ongoing foot problem that is not consistent pain. I needed a referral for my cholesterol. And since my blood seemed to be too thin, she ordered a test to see if I need a medicine change.
