    Dr. Sweigert is a board-certified internist and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Sweigert worked as a registered physical therapist in an acute care hospital. Following medical school and residency, Dr. Sweigert began his career with a primary care group in coastal Maine. In 1997, Dr. Sweigert moved to Napa with his wife, Patricia, and their two children to assume the practice of a long-time Napa internist.

    Past President of the Napa/Solano Medical Society, he is active in local, state and national healthcare issues. Dr. Sweigert forges relationships with his patients through careful assessment of their problems and concerns, understanding their individual needs and working with each patient to develop a personal health plan. A dedicated runner and bicyclist, Dr Sweigert rode from the Pacific to the Atlantic ocean with his family.
