    Covenant Health and Nor-Lea General Hospital are proud to announce Julia Vana, APRN, CPNP-PC, certified pediatric nurse practitioner, is now providing pediatric healthcare services in the Hobbs, NM community.

    After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing, Vana became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP). She began her career at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, working in the ICU and pulmonology clinic.

    Vana helped develop a key cooperative outreach clinic providing support to rural physicians and family practice physicians, mentoring several future pediatric nurse practitioners, “all in an interest of preventive primary care.”

    Her care philosophy and focus is to “work together to the needs of children and their families.”

    As a mother Dr. Vana, knows the importance of compassionate care and emphasizing the value of family by providing comprehensive pediatric care.
