    Biography

    John Zias M.D., F.A.C.C., is a graduate of State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital. He completed his cardiology fellowship and his chief cardiology fellowship at Texas Heart Institute, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital.

    Dr. Zias has been practicing Interventional Cardiology in Lubbock, Texas since 1988. He is currently working at Covenant Medical Center, selected as highest-ranked in the region and ranked in the top 20 best hospitals in the state of Texas.

    Dr. Zias is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty in Cardiovascular Disease.

    Dr. Zias is the Medical Director for Covenant Cardiology Associates.
