    Biography
    Lisa Crane, MD, is a board-certified physician who has devoted her career to the well-being of women and youth and has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics.
    Dr. Crane graduated cum laude from Howard University, where she received a B.S. in microbiology and was elected to the Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society. She earned her M.D. from the University of Rochester in New York. While a medical student there, she published research involving resistance in an anti-leukemia agent Ara-C.
    Following an internship in internal medicine at Los Angeles County–USC Medical Center, Dr. Crane completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Howard University in Washington DC, where she was a chief resident.
    Before moving to Orange County, Dr. Crane opened a private practice in the Inland Empire. There she was active in the OB/GYN community, supervising OB/GYN residents, and serving as vice chairman of the OB/GYN Department at Parkview and Riverside Community Hospitals.
    A fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), Dr. Crane holds staff privileges at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange and Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and Irvine.
    In addition to volunteering as camp doctor at a local camp for underprivileged youths, Dr. Crane has donated her services to medical missions to Nicaragua, Nigeria, and the Dominican Republic.
